Atwinds was established by Dr. Eunita Winkey, a High School Business teacher with the vision of positively impacting children’s lives, both inside and outside the classroom.  Atwinds purpose is to foster families through mentoring and empowerment so that they can become productive citizens of society.  Atwinds strives to ensure the safety and well-being of children, support and strengthen families by building caring environments to assist these families in reaching their full potential.  Atwinds provides a variety of services including counseling, disaster relief, emotional support, outreach, and education awareness. 

Our mission is the teach, advocate, and save lives.  Atwinds envisions a community where seeds of faith, hope and love are planted in communities.  These seeds will bring forth a harvest of productive humans in society from generation to generation. We envision a community where families are safe, healthy, nurtured, and live in a loving environment that provide them with opportunities to flourish and  live healthy lives.
